Trisha is a strong wiled personality. She also knows what she wants in her life. She is now a leading actress in Kollywood and she has some films on hand in Telugu too. The actor however has a weakness and that is, she just can’t stop buying up new dresses and shoes. She has hundreds of designer outfits. She also buys up pair after pair of footwear. By latest count she has over 150 pairs of shoes. Trisha says, she never steps out of house without wearing shoes that match with her dress. She has even hired a maid servant exclusively to clean her shoes every day.

Trisha is now the proud owner of a customized BMW car. She took delivery of the model 5 series BMW car recently. She performed puja at a temple and drove the car to Prasad’s studios to report for shooting. She is now working in the film ‘Kuruvi’. After moving around in her new BMW for a couple of days, Trisha has now reverted back to her old car. She feels that the pot-filled roads are not fit for her dream car. She is also worried that someone might damage her car by hitting it accidentally. So Trisha has locked up the car safely in her garage.

Trisha might have missed to play opposite Nagarjuna in Don but now she has been chosen to play opposite Nagarjuna, in his next film after Don, said a source. It is also said that producer Shiva Prasad Reddy, who produced Nagarjuna’s earlier film Boss is all getting ready to fabricate this film and Srinu Vaitla has been roped in to direct this flick.

Trisha is on a high now that her long awaiting release Bheema is all set to hit the screens on Pongal ’08. Besides that, she is also looking forward to her forthcoming project Abhiyum Naanum which is shaping up well. She has pinned a lot of hopes on this project and is hopeful about getting a national award for her presentation as the character she essays has been so well etched out by director Radha Mohan.
With a bevy of actresses from other languages making a beeline into Tamil cinema with the likes of Asin and Navya Nair mouthing their lines in their own voice, Trisha feels left behind in the race. Trisha being a Tamilian has her voice generally dubbed in all her films by dubbing artiste Savita. But she is now particular that she dubs for herself in her films as it is required for artistes to speak in their own voice in order to qualify for an award in the best actress grouping. It is a pity that she had to realize this after struggle from actress from other languages.

Items numbers fetch a lot of money, for a five minute appearance, they get paid as much as 50 lakhs is some instances. But Trisha says that, for her it is a matter of principle. She has made up her mind not to do item roles, irrespective of the money or the actor.




Trisha to dubs for ‘Abhiyum Naanum’..?

Actress TrishaTrisha is said to have articulated her enthusiasm to dub for her role in ‘Abhiyum Naanum’. Though director Radha Mohan is yet to take a decision, it is believed that he would give his nod to Trisha to speak for herself in his movie. Each person knows that an actor should talk on his or her own should he or she wants to be painstaking for National Award for acting. Since Abhi gives Trisha a lot of scope to showcase her acting skills, it is but natural for her to willing dub for herself, to be in a position to be well thought-out for the award.
It is worth recalling that actors like Asin and Navya Nair, whose mother tongue is not Tamil, are dubbing for their roles. In fact, Asin has been very particular that she dubs for her films right from the beginning. She learnt Tamil and fine tuned her skills to in actual fact dub for her films. For her, dubbing is part of acting, without which the presentation wouldn’t be complete.
Trisha, on the other hand, has never tried to dub despite being a Tamil girl by birth. She depends on dubbing artiste Savitha to enhance her performance so far. Since Abhi is said to have been getting nicely shaped up, she has got the desire and the self-confidence to dub. It would be exciting to see how her effort to lend her own voice to support her role shapes up.

actress trishaThe film will be the 30th of Panju Arunachalam’s PA Art productions. He started producing films in 1977, starting with ‘Kamal’s ‘Kalyanaraman.’

He wants his 30th film to be a special one. Selvaraghavan is eventful directing ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ after which he will direct Vivek Oberoi in the Hindi remake of ‘7G Rainbow Colony.’ After that, he will work on Panju Arunachalam’s movie.

In this as yet untitled film, Surya and Trisha play the lead roles. After ‘Vaaranam Aayiram,’ Surya will act in Sevaraghavan’s film. This being the 30th film of PA Art Productions, it is said Rajini was approached for his call sheet. If Rajini is openhanded enough, this could be a big year for PA Arts!
